BY SIGNING IN WITH GOOGLE AND ENTERING THE DUEL, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS. THEY'RE SHORT, HONEST, AND WRITTEN BY HUMANS — NOT LAWYERS. READING THEM IS OPTIONAL BUT IMPRESSIVE.
THE GAME
Unblinkd is a real-time 1v1 blinking contest between strangers. You sign in, a camera watches your eyes, and whoever blinks first loses. That's the whole game. Simple. Brutal. Oddly addictive.
GOOGLE ACCOUNT REQUIRED
You must sign in with a Google account to play. No Google account, no duel. We use Google OAuth so you don't have to invent yet another password you'll forget in 48 hours. If you don't have a Google account, you know what to do.
ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years old. By clicking "Sign in with Google" you confirm this. We can't verify it, so we're trusting you. Don't make us regret it.
CAMERA PERMISSION
The game only works with camera access. Blink detection runs locally in your browser — your video never touches our servers or your opponent's device. You're granting us permission to watch your eyes, not your soul.
FAIR PLAY
No cheating. That means no tape on your eyelids, no AI filters replacing your face, no bots, no scripts, no elaborate eye-propping contraptions. We run multi-layer anti-cheat. Cheaters get banned. Bans are permanent. We will not argue about it.
ACCOUNTS
Your account is tied to your Google identity. You're responsible for what happens through it. Don't share access. We can suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms — no warning required, no court order needed.
RANKINGS & SCORES
Every match counts toward your rank. We reserve the right to correct rankings if we catch manipulation. There's no prize money — just the eternal glory of being #1 at not blinking, which is honestly more valuable.
CONDUCT
Don't be weird about it. Disconnecting mid-match is a loss. Repeatedly disconnecting to dodge losses may get you temporarily banned. We don't have a full conduct team — we're a small game about blinking — but we'll know.
AVAILABILITY
We aim for uptime. We're a small team running on a $6/month server. Sometimes things break. There are no refunds because we don't charge you anything. Seemed fair.
LIABILITY
Unblinkd is provided as-is. We are not responsible for dry eyes, eye strain, the shame of losing to a 12-year-old, or any other consequence of voluntarily staring at strangers online. You chose this.
CHANGES
We may update these terms. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the new version. We'll email registered users if anything important changes.
SUING JORGE MORA
This entire thing was built by Jorge Mora because he was bored and unemployed. If you want to sue him for your dry eyes, emotional damage, or because you lost your 100-win streak, go ahead. He has no money. But please hire him first so he can afford a lawyer.
